Powerhouse gospel singer-songwriter and multi-award winner, Jekalyn Carr, returns with a powerful new single titled “God Of War,” featuring Elevation Worship and Elevation Rhythm. This track is a part of her upcoming self-titled album, “JEKALYN,” scheduled for release later this month on October 20 and marks her first full project in four years.
Accompanied by a lyric video, “God Of War” emphasizes the supreme and resolute power of God, highlighting that there is no battle, struggle, or conflict that the Almighty has not already conquered on behalf of His chosen ones.
In anticipation of her upcoming album, “JEKALYN,” which is now available for pre-order, Jekalyn Carr shared a special video explaining the inspiration behind the album title. It reflects her personal testimony, musical and spiritual growth, and the divine messages she has received during the journey of evolving her sound.
It’s worth noting that Carr is currently nominated for a 54th GMA Dove Award in the Contemporary Gospel Recorded Song of the Year category for her collaboration on “New Day” with Blanca, with the event scheduled to hold on October 17th at the Allen Arena on the campus of Lipscomb University, Nashville.
